A big shout out to Lakeview's cafeteria staff for their hard work providing a salad bar for our students on Tuesday's and Wednesdays. The students and staff look forward to it every week.
The Edgewood/Lakeview volleyball game on October 5th will have a start time of 5:30. It will be played at the high school in the Tiger Den main floor.

We are so proud and thankful for our Lakeview students. They have raised almost $6000 for Feed My Starving Children. The students practiced communication skills, empathy, and were able to make community connections.

The Nelson's fundraiser for athletics will be next Friday, September 30th. We need volunteers to work the following shifts: 10:30 -12:30, 12:30-2:30, 2:30-4:30, 4:30-6:30. If you are able to work contact Mrs. White or Mr. Weinstein.
Volleyball practice is cancelled this evening to allow our janitors time to set up the Gym for parent teacher conferences which will be tomorrow from 3:30 -7:00.
Yesterday in Mr. Weaver's PLTW class the students were practicing the real world skill of measurement. Mr. Weaver tied the learning to both math classes and the orthopedic industry. What a great class.
