Mr. McCollom delivered an engaging lesson in SCIENCE about the importance of investigating and drawing conclusions based on evidence and observation. Weaving a remarkable story about a species of lice that could purify sewer water, students were invited to participate and volunteer to drink the "purified" yellow liquid and eat the "lice" - we won't spoil the "plot twist" in this narrative, but eager students did discover that you can't believe everything you hear or read online.
